Uncertainty Over Bhadrachalam Yeru River Festival Conduct
There's a question mark over whether a fun river festival will happen this year in Bhadrachalam.
Last year, the people in charge, called ITDA, organized a special 'River Festival' by the Godavari River.
It was a big hit, especially the cool camping tents people could stay in.
But this year, nobody has started getting ready for it yet.
The ITDA officials say they haven't decided if the festival will happen at all.
So, everyone is waiting to find out if the festival will return this year.
Uncertainty surrounds the annual 'Yeru (River) Festival' organized by the ITDA of Bhadrachalam.
Last year, the festival was held from January 9-11 on the banks of the Godavari River.
The event coincided with Mukkoti Ekadasi celebrations at the Sri Seetha Ramachandra Swamy Devasthanam.
Decathlon camping tents were a popular attraction for tourists last year.
ITDA officials have not yet made a decision on whether to proceed with the festival this year, with no preparations initiated.
