Punjab Launches Insurance for School Mid-Day Meal Staff
The Punjab government is giving extra protection to people who cook meals at schools.
They've teamed up with a bank to give these workers insurance.
If something bad happens, the insurance will give them or their family money, up to 16 lakh rupees.
This agreement was made between the government's education department and Canara Bank.
The goal is to help keep the cooks safe and secure.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Directorate of Elementary Education and Canara Bank.
