Bengali Cinema Sees Success, Faces Piracy Issues

Summer releases of Bengali films have brought families to theaters!

One film, ‘The Eken: Benaras e Bibhishika,’ is very popular, especially with kids.

Another film, ‘Onko Ki Kothin,’ had a problem: someone illegally copied it.

The Eken movies were changed to be more kid-friendly, and now, kids, teenagers, and adults enjoy them.

The success of these movies made one producer change when they would release their own movie.

The police are trying to stop the illegal copying of movies.
