Delhi Schools Conduct Admissions Draw for EWS, DG, and CWSN
Thousands of kids in Delhi are getting into private schools thanks to a special program.
Schools chose these kids using a computer drawing for nursery, kindergarten, and first grade.
These kids are part of groups like families with low incomes, kids from certain communities, and kids with special needs.
The government made the rules, and if a family makes under a certain amount of money or has a special need, their kids can get help to go to school.
Nearly 6,000 children selected for Delhi school admissions under EWS, DG, and CWSN categories.
Selections made via a computerized draw of lots for nursery, KG, and Class 1.
2,919 children were selected for nursery or pre-school.
733 for KG or pre-primary, and 2,341 for Class 1 were selected.
