HP Mahila Vikas Nigam Increases Loan Limits for Women

The Himachal Pradesh Mahila Vikas Nigam, a group that helps women, has decided to increase the amount of money women can borrow for education and jobs.

They increased the education loan limit from 75,000 rupees to 300,000 rupees, and the employment loan from 100,000 rupees to 300,000 rupees.

These loans have low interest rates, 4% for education and 6% for jobs.

This is to help more women, especially those with lower family incomes.

The Nigam has already helped thousands of women with loans since it was created in 1989.
