AAP MLA Accuses BJP of Inaction on Monkey Menace in Delhi
An elected official from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is upset because monkeys are causing a lot of trouble in a neighborhood called Sangam Vihar in Delhi.
He says the monkeys are attacking people, even a very young baby who got seriously hurt and lost an eye.
The official is blaming the other political party, the BJP, which is in charge of the local government services, saying they aren't doing enough to stop the monkeys.
He feels like the BJP is ignoring the problem and not helping people who are scared.
If they don't fix it soon, his party might protest.
The BJP has not responded to these accusations yet.
AAP MLA Prem Chauhan alleged that the BJP-led MCD is failing to control the monkey menace in Sangam Vihar, South Delhi.
He cited incidents where monkeys attacked residents, including a three-month-old baby who reportedly lost an eye.
Chauhan stated that people are living in fear and afraid to leave their homes due to the monkey terror.
The MLA accused the veterinary department and MCD officials of being unresponsive and doing nothing beyond paperwork.
AAP has threatened to launch a movement and 'gherao' the BJP if the monkey menace is not immediately curbed.
