Andhra Pradesh Opens 24-Hour Control Room for Transport Portal Glitches
Andhra Pradesh has opened a phone and WhatsApp help desk that is available all day and night.
It is for people having trouble with online vehicle and driving licence services.
The helpline number is 92816 07001.
The state is working with national agencies to fix problems with the websites.
Some people can upload other documents if their Aadhaar details do not match their driving licence records.
Owners of older vehicles may need to ask their local transport office to update HSRP details.
New HSRP plates can be arranged through authorised vehicle dealers.
People can also take the learner’s licence test from home.
By October 8, 2,620 people had passed that test and 138 had failed.
