Telangana Plans Dedicated Space City to Expand India’s Space Economy

Minister D Sridhar Babu said young Indian space companies are developing new ideas.

These ideas could include putting data centers and science laboratories in space.

Hyderabad is already home to Skyroot Aerospace, a major private space company.

Telangana hopes its space and technology industries will help the state contribute more to India’s economy.

The minister also said new technologies such as artificial intelligence and quantum computing will change many jobs.
