Rajasthan Election Roll Revision Sees High Form Distribution
Imagine a school is checking its student list to make sure everyone is still attending and their information is correct.
Rajasthan is doing something similar for its voter list with a special check called SIR.
In just six days, they have given out over 21.8 million forms, which is about 40% of all the people who can vote there!
Some places like Barmer and Chittorgarh are doing a really great job, with more than half of their forms handed out.
But other places like Jodhpur and Bikaner need to hurry up.
People can now fill out these forms online using their Aadhaar card, which is super convenient.
There are even videos to help them.
This special check also helps map where voters are, making it easier to verify them later.
Booth Level Officers are also busy uploading the forms they collect.
The goal is to make sure everyone's name is on the list accurately for future elections.
Over 21.8 million voter count forms have been distributed in Rajasthan within six days during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
Barmer and Chittorgarh districts are leading in form distribution, exceeding 50% completion.
Voters can now submit count forms online via the Election Commission's digital platform using an Aadhaar-linked e-signature.
Mapping progress is strong in districts like Barmer and Nagaur, while Jaipur and Kota need to accelerate efforts.
Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are using a new app to upload completed forms both offline and online.
