Bihar Expands Childhood Cancer Treatment Network
The Bihar government has teamed up with Cankids to make sure more kids with cancer get the help they need.
They signed an agreement to work together and make sure every child in Bihar can get the right treatment.
They want to make sure no child is left without care or money for treatment.
They also want to make sure more kids survive cancer by 2030.
This is a big step to help kids in Bihar fight cancer.
Bihar government’s State Health Society signed an MoU with Cankids to expand childhood cancer treatment network.
The partnership aims to improve childhood cancer care across Bihar’s 38 districts.
Current treatment centers account for 53% of access to childhood cancer care in Bihar.
The goal is to achieve 100% access to care, 100% financial protection, and at least 60% survival by 2030.
