Roshibina Devi Wins Historic Asian Games Silver Despite Flu

Roshibina Devi is an Indian Wushu athlete.

She won a silver medal at the Asian Games.

She competed in the women’s 60-kilogram sanda event.

She lost the final to China’s Zhang Xiaoyu.

Roshibina’s mother said she had the flu before leaving for the competition.

Even while sick, Roshibina continued competing.

She also defeated athletes from Vietnam and Indonesia on her way to the final.

This was her third straight Asian Games medal, making her the first Indian woman to achieve that in Wushu.
