Kabaddi Player Murder: Key Accused Killed in Encounter
A kabaddi player named Kanwar Digvijay Singh was shot and killed in Mohali on December 15.
The police identified and arrested the mastermind, Aishdeep Singh, who was planning to flee the country.
During a raid to catch another accused, Harpinder alias Middu, he opened fire on the police, leading to an encounter where he was killed.
Two police officers were also injured in the exchange of fire.
The police are still searching for the remaining accused involved in the case.
Kanwar Digvijay Singh, a kabaddi player, was shot dead in Mohali on December 15.
The mastermind behind the murder, Aishdeep Singh, was arrested at Delhi Airport while trying to flee to Muscat.
Harpinder alias Middu, a key accused, was killed in a police encounter in Lalru on December 17.
Two police personnel were injured during the encounter with Harpinder.
The police have identified all accused involved in the case and are conducting raids to nab the remaining suspects.
