Nashik Approves ₹221 Crore Six-Lane Road Project Ahead of Simhastha

A busy road in Nashik is planned to become much wider before the Simhastha Kumbh Mela.

The road runs from Dwarka Circle to Datta Mandir Chowk.

The approved project budget is ₹221 crore.

The plan is for six main traffic lanes and service roads on both sides.

Officials hope this will help reduce traffic jams.

The city says it has acquired 90% of the land needed.

VP Sethi offered to do the work for ₹138 crore, below the estimated cost.

The municipal commissioner says the city will try to finish the work before the event.
