Union Minister Inspects Guntur Flyover Construction
A government minister and the city's mayor visited a construction site to see how a new bridge and flyover were being built.
The minister was happy with how fast one part, the Mirchi Yard flyover, was being made.
He also said they would make sure a nearby statue wouldn't get in the way.
For another part, the Shankar Vilas Bridge, they plan to finish building seven big supports by mid-December.
There was a small problem with some shops needing to move, which caused a little delay.
The minister said they can't pay the shop owners what they want, but city officials are talking to them to find a solution.
Everyone is working together to get these important building projects finished.
Union Minister Dr. Pemmasani Chandrasekhar and Guntur Mayor Kovelamudi Ravindrababu inspected flyover and bridge construction in Guntur.
The Minister expressed satisfaction with the rapid progress of the Mirchi Yard flyover.
Seven bridge pillars on the Shankar Vilas–GGH side are expected to be completed by December 15.
Delays in shop removals on the Shankar Vilas side were noted, with an appeal for public cooperation.
The Minister stated that compensation demanded by shop owners cannot be provided, but discussions are ongoing to resolve the issue.
