Imran Khan Sets Boundaries After Miserable Highest-Paid Film Experience
Imran Khan is an actor who became well known after Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na.
He said one unnamed film paid him more than any other film.
However, making that movie made him very unhappy.
This taught him that money is not always worth losing your peace of mind.
He now says he has limits on the work he will accept.
He would refuse some projects even if the payment were doubled or tripled.
Khan stopped acting after Katti Batti in 2015.
He said the decision happened slowly while he thought about what he wanted from life.
He is now preparing to return in a Netflix romantic comedy.
Imran Khan said the film that earned his highest fee was also his most miserable filmmaking experience.
He said he would reject projects that violate his boundaries, even if offered double or triple the money.
Khan stepped away from Bollywood after Katti Batti failed commercially in 2015.
He said his break developed gradually as he questioned his identity, priorities and fulfillment.
