Mid-segment homes to lead 2026 real estate focus
In 2026, real estate developers in India, like the Prestige Group, plan to focus more on building mid-segment homes.
These homes cost between ₹1.5 crore and ₹3 crore and are around 1500-2200 square feet in size.
This shift is because luxury homes, which are more expensive, don't sell in large numbers.
The Prestige Group has already sold ₹18,000 crore worth of homes in the first half of the fiscal year 2026, with a big project in Delhi-NCR.
They are also planning to enter the Gurugram and Noida markets soon.
The company believes that mid-segment homes will attract more customers and lead to better sales.
