Molbio Diagnostics IPO Monday debut; GMP, experts signal gains

Molbio Diagnostics is a company that makes quick medical tests to find out if people are sick.

The company sold a part of itself to the public in a process called an IPO, so many people can own a tiny piece of it.

The offer was very popular — people wanted 70 times more shares than were available.

On Monday, 17 August, these shares will start selling on two big Indian stock markets for the first time.

Before the stock market opens, people who guess share prices think the shares could be worth about ₹932, which is more than the ₹807 that buyers paid.

Experts think the shares may jump 14 to 16 percent on the first day.

The money from the sale will be used to build a research lab, buy machines, and help the company grow in places like Goa and Visakhapatnam.

Some experts say people who plan to keep the shares for years should hold on to them, while others say quick traders might take some profit on the first day.

The company's earnings have grown from about ₹836 crore to ₹1,445 crore in a few years.
