Jio Expands Telecom Dominance in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana
Imagine your phone and internet service.
In September 2025, a company called Jio became even more popular in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
They got more people to use their home internet service, JioFiber, and also more people to sign up for their mobile phone plans.
Other companies like Airtel also gained some new customers, but BSNL lost some, and Vodafone Idea lost a lot.

Jio added 40,641 new wireline subscribers in September 2025, reaching a total of 18.28 lakh in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
In the wireless segment, Jio gained 1.17 lakh new mobile users, bringing its total to 3.18 crore subscribers in the region.
Bharti Airtel added 12,043 wireline and 39,248 wireless subscribers, while BSNL saw an increase of 80,840 wireless users.
Vodafone Idea experienced a net loss of 1,310 wireline and nearly 70,000 wireless subscribers during the same period.
Jio's sustained growth is attributed to its robust fiber network, 5G readiness, and comprehensive digital offerings.
