Mumbai Train Services Disrupted for Two Months
The Western Railway is doing important work on the tracks at Mumbai Central station, which will cause some train problems for the next two months.
Some trains will stop at Dadar instead of going all the way to Mumbai Central, and a few will not run between these stations.
The Central Railway is adding extra trains on December 6 to help people visit Chaityabhoomi in Dadar for a special day.
Meanwhile, the Northern Railway is stopping some trains for about three months because of the thick fog that makes it hard to see and drive trains safely.
Western Railway announced a 60-day disruption on Platform 4 at Mumbai Central due to track renewal work.
Some trains will be short-terminated at Dadar, and others will be partially cancelled between Dadar and Mumbai Central.
Affected trains include 22946 Okha – Mumbai Central Express, 22210 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Mumbai Central Express, 09086 Indore – Mumbai Central Express, 09076 Kathgodam – Mumbai Central Express, and 09186 Kanpur Anwarganj – Mumbai Central Express.
Central Railway will run 12 additional suburban trains on December 6 for Mahaparinirvan Divas.
Northern Railway will suspend dozens of passenger and long-distance trains from December 1, 2025, to March 1, 2026, due to fog-related safety concerns.
