IIT Mandi Sees Strong Growth in Most Opted Courses, New AI Program Debuts

Imagine a big school called IIT Mandi that trains future engineers.

This year, even more students are choosing IIT Mandi for their studies, and many of them are picking the same types of classes as before.

The most popular class is still about computers, just like last year.

But this year, a brand new class about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data science became super popular right away, becoming the second most chosen!

Other popular classes include electrical and mechanical engineering.

Some older classes, like one focused on data science, were stopped because students are now choosing the newer, combined AI and data science program.

This shows that students are interested in both the classic engineering jobs and the exciting new tech fields.
