Ballia Man Beaten to Death in Electricity Repair Dispute

Sonu Yadav went to check and repair an electricity wire near a relative’s home.

The wire had reportedly been damaged by strong winds and rain.

Police said some people objected to the repair work.

An argument then became a physical fight involving sticks.

Sonu and his brother Sushil were injured.

Sonu was taken to a hospital but later died while being treated.

After his death, family members and villagers blocked a road for about an hour.

They wanted the people responsible to be arrested.

Police said all four named suspects were arrested and that legal proceedings were continuing.
