Indian Envoy Offers Support to Women Workers in Singapore

India’s High Commissioner in Singapore met about 200 Indian women who work there.

Many of the women are domestic helpers or caregivers.

They received health screenings and advice about handling money safely.

The event was part of a program called the One Stop Centre.

The program helps Indian women abroad find support.

Shilpak Ambule said they could contact the Indian High Commission if they had problems.

He also warned them to be careful about financial scams.

A community group helped organize the event and performed cultural programs.
