Bangladesh PM, Indian envoy meeting signals positive shift

Bangladesh and India are two neighboring countries that have been friends for a long time because they share history, rivers, trade, and families.

Lately, the two countries were not getting along very well.

A leader from Bangladesh went to India's capital and gave a talk, which made many people in Bangladesh upset.

India said it was not part of that talk and does not agree with everything that was said.

To fix things, the leader of Bangladesh met with an important official from India.

The official then went back home to talk to India's leader about how to make the friendship stronger.

The meeting was friendly, and people think it is a good sign that the countries want to be friends again.

Bangladesh's leader was also invited to visit India in September for a big meeting of many countries called BRICS.

The two countries have solved problems before by talking patiently and working together, so many people hope they can do it again.
