Vengsarkar Donates Memorabilia to Cricket Museum
Former Indian cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar gave away some of his old cricket gear to a new museum in Mumbai.
The museum is all about celebrating cricket in Mumbai and is opening soon.
Vengsarkar donated a sweater he wore in a famous game in 1986 where he scored lots of runs, helping India win.
He also gave a blazer.
He hopes that when young people see these items, they'll want to work hard and become great cricketers too.
The sweater is from a special match where India's team captain, Kapil Dev, also played very well.
Dilip Vengsarkar donated his Test sweater and blazer to the Sharad Pawar Cricket Museum.
The museum is dedicated to Mumbai's cricketing legacy and will be inaugurated August 23.
Vengsarkar wore the sweater during the 1986 Lord's Test against England, scoring 126 runs.
India won the match and the series under Kapil Dev's captaincy.
Vengsarkar believes his donations will inspire young cricketers.
