Activist Starts 48-Hour Fast for Education Reform

A former journalist named Srinivasan Nandagopal started a two-day hunger strike in Mangaluru to show support for other protesters in Delhi.

These protesters are demanding that the Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, resign because of a problem with a big exam called NEET.

Nandagopal wants to understand the hardships faced by the protesters and is also calling for better accountability in the education system.

He has been working with children and youth through educational initiatives and recently completed a long motorcycle trip across Karnataka.
