Two New Frog Species Discovered in Arunachal Pradesh

Scientists have found two new types of frogs in Arunachal Pradesh, India.

These frogs are called Leptobrachium somani and Leptobrachium mechuka.

They belong to a group of frogs called Leptobrachium.

There are now 39 known types of these frogs in the world, and only four were known in India before this discovery.

The scientists used DNA tests and looked at the frogs' bodies to make sure they were new species.

They found these frogs in the forests and near rivers in Arunachal Pradesh.

One frog is named after a town called Mechuka, and the other is named after a famous journalist.

The scientists think this shows that there is still a lot to learn about the animals in Arunachal Pradesh.
