Jeff Dean Backs Google's Gemini Plans After Leaving Company

Jeff Dean worked at Google for 27 years and was one of its important technology leaders.

He recently left to lead a small artificial intelligence company called Discovery Loop.

The new company has four people, including Dean and three former Google colleagues.

Investors reacted strongly when the group left, and Alphabet’s share price dropped.

Dean said it is difficult to know why the stock market moves on any particular day.

He became emotional while talking about his long time at Google.

He said Google has a good plan for improving its Gemini AI models.

Dean also said a small company can keep everyone focused on the same goal.

He believes working at Discovery Loop will be exciting.
