Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar Review Finds Tension Weakened By Writing
Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar is a Malayalam crime thriller about four police officers who accidentally cause a man’s death.
They work together to hide what happened and avoid being arrested.
The movie creates suspense by showing how close they come to being caught.
The reviewer says this approach works better than using many surprising twists.
However, some of the characters’ ideas come too conveniently from a police memoir.
The investigator Harris Meeran is also not used as strongly as expected.
The movie is said to resemble Drishyam and, at times, Nayattu.
The review praises the camera work but criticizes the performances, comedy, long runtime, and music, giving the film 2.5 stars.
Shahad Nilambur’s crime thriller follows four police officers who cover up an accidental death at their station.
The film builds tension through a race against time rather than relying heavily on surprise twists.
The review criticizes convenient writing, especially Aleena’s dependence on a memoir written by investigator Harris Meeran.
The film is compared with Drishyam and Nayattu, while its long runtime and uneven tone are also noted.
Parvathy Thiruvothu and the other central performers are criticized for failing to make the characters’ fear emotionally convincing; the film receives 2.5 stars.
