Ahmedabad Police Arrest Occult Practitioner Over Alleged Ritual Assaults

Police in Ahmedabad arrested a man who called himself an occult practitioner.

He is accused of sexually assaulting a young girl.

Police say he told her family that evil spirits had possessed her.

He allegedly used fake religious rituals as a way to get access to her.

He also reportedly promised the family wealth and hidden gold.

Police say he threatened the girl’s family to stop her from speaking.

The case has been filed under several laws protecting children and banning harmful black-magic practices.

Investigators are checking whether he may have harmed other girls or women.
