Water Supply Disrupted in Thiruvananthapuram City for Cleaning
Imagine some big water storage tanks that provide water to your city.
These tanks need to be cleaned sometimes, like cleaning your own water tank at home.
Because of this cleaning, the water supply in some parts of Thiruvananthapuram will be turned off for a few days.
The cleaning will happen in three big tanks.
These tanks are super important because they supply water to low-lying areas.
The people in charge of the water supply say they don't expect a big disruption.
But they are letting people know just in case, so everyone can plan ahead and save water if they need to.
Water supply will be disrupted in parts of Thiruvananthapuram city from June 3 to 5.
The Kerala Water Authority (KWA) announced the disruption due to cleaning of three tanks.
Affected areas include Pattoor, Kuriyathi, Thampanoor, Fort, and others.
The cleaning is part of routine maintenance of the tanks.
Officials advised the public to take necessary precautions due to potential water shortage.
