Nissan to Launch Gravite MPV and Tekton SUV in 2026
Nissan is planning to launch two new cars in India in 2026.
The first one is called the Gravite, which is a big car that can seat seven people.
It will have a big screen for music and maps, and it will have lots of safety features like airbags and sensors.
The car will have a small engine that runs on petrol, and it might also have an option to run on CNG.
The second car is called the Tekton, which is a sporty-looking SUV.
It will have a sharp front design with special lights and big wheels.
The Tekton will have different engine choices, including a hybrid option that will come later.
Both cars are expected to help Nissan sell more cars in India.
Nissan will launch the Gravite, a seven-seater MPV, in India in January 2026, with sales starting in March 2026.
The Gravite will share design elements with the Renault Triber but will have distinctive features like sleek LED DRLs and new alloy wheels.
It will have an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and removable third-row seats.
Safety features will include six airbags, hill start assist, ESP, rear parking sensors, and TPMS.
The Gravite is expected to use the same 1.0-liter petrol engine as the Triber, with options for a manual or AMT transmission, and a dealer-level CNG kit.
Nissan will also launch the Tekton SUV in February 2026, featuring a contemporary design with a sharp front profile, connected LED DRLs, and multi-spoke alloy wheels.
The Tekton is expected to come with multiple petrol engine choices, including naturally aspirated and turbocharged units, and a hybrid variant expected later.
Transmission options for the Tekton will include both manual and automatic gearbox options.
