Telangana Promotes Vision 2047 at Davos
The Chief Minister of Telangana, Shri A. Revanth Reddy, and his team went to Davos to talk about their big plans for the future, called Telangana Rising 2047.
They met with the head of TATA, Chandrasekharan, and showed him all the exciting things they want to do, like making better schools, sports places, and even a big mall with help from Switzerland.
They also talked about building nice roads and fixing up a river.
The TATA boss liked their ideas and said they want to help with some of these projects.
The Telangana team also met with people from Switzerland and talked about working together on different things like shops, learning, and sports.
Everyone seemed happy and excited about the possibilities!
Additionally, the Chief Minister highlighted the state's strength in the life sciences sector, which has been welcomed by industries.
V. Satish Reddy, chairman of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, praised the Telangana Next-Gen Life Sciences Policy, saying it will support research, innovation, and economic growth.
Telangana delegation presented Vision 2047 at WEF 2026, focusing on policies and ecosystem rather than chasing investments.
TATA Chairman Chandrasekharan commended Telangana's planning and agreed to support proposals like upgrading stadiums and setting up a resort.
Discussions included collaborations in AI, semiconductors, EV manufacturing, and the Musi Riverfront project.
Telangana proposed a 'Swiss Mall' in Hyderabad, with the Swiss delegation showing immediate interest.
Potential collaborations with Switzerland include culture, education, skilling, hospitality, sports, retail, and life sciences.
