Delhi Police Prepare Five-Layer Barricades for Opposition March

Opposition parties are planning a march to the Election Commission.

They are protesting over an exercise called SIR.

The protest call came after 19 opposition parties met on September 30.

Delhi Police prepared five layers of barricades and tear gas shells.

The Election Commission said its members did not disagree about the exercise.

It said all decisions were made together.

The Indian Youth Congress also planned another protest as a backup.

That plan could be used if MPs are not allowed to reach the Commission’s headquarters.
