Delhi High Court Warns Violence Could Halt DUSU Results

The Delhi High Court discussed violence during student-union elections.

The court said violence is not acceptable, even during elections.

It said people cannot use democracy as an excuse for criminal behavior.

The court believed authorities and students had failed to keep the elections peaceful.

It did not stop or postpone the election at that moment.

However, it warned that counting votes and announcing results could still be stopped.

The court said it would not accept excuses.

It expects authorities to take effective action.
