US Takes More Than Half of India’s Software Exports

India sold more computer and technology services to other countries in FY26.

The United States bought the largest share of these services.

US purchases from India reached $119.7 billion, or more than half of India’s software exports.

India’s total software services exports reached $221.4 billion.

IT services made up the biggest part of those exports.

Business process outsourcing was another major contributor.

Sales made by Indian technology workers at overseas locations fell slightly.

The survey showed strong growth but did not say that visas or trade tensions caused these changes.
