Supreme Court Grants Interim Protection to Suspended Jubilee Hills CI

Srinivasulu Reddy is a police officer facing serious allegations from a woman.

She accused him of sexual harassment and blackmail related to an abortion.

He was suspended from government work after the allegations.

He asked the Telangana High Court for protection from arrest, but that request was rejected.

He then appealed to the Supreme Court of India.

The Supreme Court temporarily ordered that he cannot be arrested or subjected to other coercive actions.

This protection lasts until the case is heard again.

The Supreme Court later postponed the hearing.
