A bridge over the Lohit River in Arunachal Pradesh has been damaged.

The bridge connects several remote villages in Anjaw district.

These include Musai, Kaho and Dong.

Kaho is near the India-China border and has been cut off, according to local reports.

Officials have stopped or limited travel across the bridge to keep people safe.

Officials will inspect the bridge and begin repairs.

People have been told to follow traffic advice and use other routes when possible.
