Golden Globes Adds Podcast Category for 2026 Ceremony

Imagine a big award show like the Oscars, but for movies and TV shows!

Well, the Golden Globes is adding a new category just for podcasts, which are like radio shows you can listen to anytime.

The Globes picked 25 popular podcasts to be considered for the award.

A company called Luminate looked at how popular each podcast is, based on how many people listen and how much money they make.

Then, the people who vote on the Golden Globes will pick six nominees from the list, and eventually choose a winner.

This is the first time a major award show is recognizing podcasts like this!
