Interarch CEO Manish Garg's Expectations from Union Budget 2026
Manish Garg, the CEO of Interarch, a company that builds steel structures, talked about what he wants from the upcoming Union Budget in 2026.
He said that private companies in India are starting to spend more on building new factories, warehouses, and other facilities.
This is good for his business because they make steel buildings that are quick to set up and can grow with the needs of the companies.
He hopes the government will keep spending on roads, logistics, and industrial areas to encourage more private investment.
He also wants the government to make it easier for companies to get loans and to give tax breaks for building green and energy-efficient buildings.
Another big problem he mentioned is that there aren't enough skilled workers to build these structures, and he hopes the government will help train more people.
Right now, the biggest demand for their buildings is coming from companies that make things, store goods, and need special facilities like data centers.
India is experiencing a revival in private capital expenditure, particularly in manufacturing, logistics, and data-centric industries.
Interarch, a major provider of pre-engineered steel buildings, is seeing increased demand due to the need for scalable and future-ready industrial and warehousing assets.
Key expectations from the Union Budget 2026 include continued public capex on infrastructure, GST reforms, incentives for green buildings, and access to affordable finance for industrial developers and MSMEs.
The sector faces challenges such as a shortage of skilled manpower, input cost volatility, and regulatory bottlenecks, which can delay projects and weaken returns.
Interarch is focusing on deepening its penetration in Tier-2 and Tier-3 industrial hubs through regional offices, digital lead management, and partnerships with industrial developers.
