BJP Warns Kerala Security Lapses Could Strain Centre-State Ties

The BJP says security was not handled properly during visits by two senior officials.

One incident happened when Amit Shah visited Kollam.

Youth Congress members protested near the route.

The BJP called this a serious security problem.

Police said the protesters did not block the convoy or get close enough to create a breach.

Another incident was reported during Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan’s visit to Thiruvananthapuram.

Rajeev Chandrasekhar said a state minister was responsible, but he did not name the minister.

He said the BJP would ask the Kerala government for answers.

He also warned that the issue could make cooperation between the central and state governments more difficult.
