Adani Enterprises to Build Kedarnath Ropeway for ₹4,081 Crore

Adani Enterprises will build a new ropeway, similar to a cable car, to help people reach Kedarnath, a religious site in India.

This project will cost over 4,000 crore rupees and is planned to be finished in approximately six years.

The ropeway will drastically reduce travel time, enabling a 36-minute journey instead of the current 8-9 hour trek.

It's designed to transport 1,800 people per hour in each direction.

Adani will also operate the project for 29 years.

This initiative, developed under the National Ropeways Development Programme, aims to improve travel and tourism, benefiting the local economy.
