Gold Rebounds ₹700 in Delhi as Silver Holds Steady
Gold became more expensive in Delhi on Wednesday.
Its price rose by ₹700 to ₹1,49,300 for 10 grams.
This happened after gold had fallen to its lowest level in two months.
Some investors bought gold because it was cheaper than before.
Silver did not change in price and stayed at ₹2.32 lakh per kilogram.
Gold prices also rose slightly in international markets.
A stronger or changing US dollar made it harder for gold to rise more.
Analysts said China’s upcoming holiday could increase jewellery buying and support gold demand.
Gold of 99.9% purity rose ₹700 to ₹1,49,300 per 10 grams in Delhi.
The increase followed gold’s decline to a two-month low and ended a two-session losing streak.
Silver remained unchanged for a second straight session at ₹2.32 lakh per kilogram.
Spot gold traded modestly higher at USD 4,190 an ounce, while global silver fell 1.28% to USD 60.68.
Value buying and a firm global trend supported gold, but US dollar movements limited its gains.
