SNU and OSCAR INDIA to Host Amateur Radio Workshop in Kolkata

A special workshop is happening where people can learn about ham radio.

It's like a way to send messages using radio waves, even without the internet.

The workshop, organized by OSCAR INDIA and Sister Nivedita University, will teach participants how to use the radio equipment, send signals, and communicate during emergencies.

It's not just a fun hobby; it also helps in disasters when regular phones and internet might not work.

Participants will get hands-on experience and learn about important topics like signal strength and antenna building.
