Mumbai Cyclist Completes Challenging Manali-Khardung La Expedition
Imagine a young man named Ajay, who can't see, but loves to cycle.
He recently rode his bike all the way from Manali, high up in the mountains, to Khardung La, the highest place you can drive a car!
He went over big hills with scary names like Rohtang Pass and Tanglang La.
It was super tough, with thin air and cold weather.
But Ajay never gave up!
He showed everyone that even if you can't see, you can still do amazing things if you work hard and dream big.
He has done other incredible rides before, and now wants to climb Mount Everest!
Ajay Lalwani, a visually impaired cyclist, completed the Manali to Khardung La cycling expedition.
The expedition covered over 500km and crossed five major Himalayan passes in five days.
He faced challenging conditions including altitude sickness, cold, and rough terrain.
Ajay is a member of the Indian Mallakhamb demonstration team in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
