Delhi Lakshmi Yojana RD Lock-In Set Through July 2029
The Delhi Lakshmi Yojana gives eligible women Rs 2,500 every month.
The money can be divided between a savings deposit and a digital wallet.
Alternatively, the full amount can go into a recurring-deposit account.
The deposit is currently locked until July 31, 2029.
The Council of Ministers can review or change this date after two years.
Women without Aadhaar can still apply using an enrolment slip and another approved document.
The scheme is meant to help up to 17 lakh women in Delhi.
Some families cannot receive the benefit, such as those above the income limit or those with certain government or tax connections.
The Delhi Lakshmi Yojana’s recurring deposit maturity date is set for July 31, 2029.
Eligible women will receive Rs 2,500 monthly, through either split payments or a full recurring-deposit credit.
The scheme targets up to 17 lakh beneficiaries, with first monthly disbursements scheduled from September 1.
Applicants without Aadhaar can use an enrolment slip and an alternative identity document to register.
The scheme excludes certain households, including income-tax payers, government employees and families exceeding eligibility limits.
