Udhayanidhi Accuses Chief Minister, Speaker After DMK Walkout

Udhayanidhi Stalin said the Chief Minister accused the DMK of wrongdoing in the Assembly.

He said the Chief Minister did not answer 15 questions asked by DMK lawmakers.

The DMK wanted to respond to the accusations.

Udhayanidhi said the Speaker first appeared willing to let him speak.

He said the Speaker later refused permission after receiving a note.

The DMK lawmakers then left the Assembly together.

Udhayanidhi also criticized the Chief Minister’s comments about corruption cases and the Sarkaria Commission.

He said the DMK would face legal proceedings and would release evidence about alleged control of mining operations.
