40-Kilometre Chase Ends in Cattle Theft Gang Arrests

Police in Yadgir arrested six people suspected of stealing cattle.

The police said the group had been taking animals from villages for about two years.

They allegedly used sedative injections to make the cattle easier to move.

The group reportedly carried the animals in a black Scorpio vehicle.

After another alleged theft, police chased the vehicle.

Officers blocked the road with a JCB and a tractor near Yeragol.

The Scorpio crashed into the JCB, and the suspects suffered minor injuries.

Police are now checking whether the group was connected to other thefts, traders, and slaughterhouses.
