Traffic Woes Persist in Mumbai and Delhi-Ghaziabad
In 2025, both Mumbai and Delhi-Ghaziabad are facing big traffic problems.
In Mumbai, places like the Western Express Highway and Ghodbunder Road are very busy and have long traffic jams.
The government is trying to fix some of these problems, like planning pod taxi services for BKC.
In Delhi-Ghaziabad, the NH-9 highway is still very congested despite a plan to fix it.
Commuters are frustrated because the traffic is so heavy that it takes a long time to get through, and sometimes events make it even worse.
Both cities are working on solutions, but for now, driving can be very slow and annoying.
Western Express Highway in Mumbai experienced heavy congestion, especially near the Bandra–Santacruz flyover and airport area.
Dahisar Check Naka in Mumbai saw minimal traffic relief despite a 20-meter toll booth shift.
Bhoomi Mart Junction in Mumbai had severe congestion affecting all four directions.
Ghodbunder Road in Mumbai had deep potholes, poor lighting, and narrow choke points causing long traffic snarls.
NH-9 in Delhi-Ghaziabad continues to experience persistent congestion despite a 10-point decongestion plan.
