No Decision Yet on No-Confidence Motion in Karnataka
The Leader of Opposition in Karnataka, R Ashoka, said that no decision has been made yet about moving a no-confidence motion against the Congress government led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
This comes after some hints from the opposition during a recent leadership dispute within the Congress party.
The winter session of the Karnataka legislature will start in Belagavi on December 8 and run until December 19.
Ashoka also mentioned that issues related to north Karnataka will be a key focus at the beginning of the session.
He criticized the government for usually addressing these issues on the last day, which he believes is unfair to the people of the region.
The opposition leader claimed that the government is holding many meetings to prepare for the session because they are scared of the opposition and there is confusion within the Congress party.
