Indian Railways Approves Rs 675-Crore Projects Across Three States

Indian Railways has approved several projects costing Rs 675 crore.

These projects will be built in West Bengal, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

They are meant to make railway travel and freight transport easier.

One project in West Bengal is an 11-kilometre bypass railway line.

It will connect the Adra end with Joychandipahar.

The bypass will give freight trains their own route.

It will also connect in both directions with a planned third railway line.

Officials expect it to handle about 6.065 freight trains, or rakes, each day.
